Editing process

It was done in several stages between August 2016 and early January 2017

“Ana Pfaff, editor of Estiu 1993 and of other projects I have developed since, suggested printing the images that, for me, best represented the scenes and which allowed us to tidy up the whole thing on paper. Sometimes when you edit you need to move away from the screen and think about the story from its simplest standpoint, in our case from Frida’s emotions. In doing this we were able to get down to the finest points of her emotional journey and reflect upon its outcome. While we stared at this wall, Ana and I spent hours on end chatting away.”
