Regina is probably the most prominent woman in the history of Lithuanian feature film production. Unfortunately, due to the stereotypes and dominant norms of the time, women only assumed secondary roles in the film industry (assistant, editor, etc.). As an assistant director, Regina was closely involved in the casting process, worked with the child actors, assisted on the film set and in the production. In the words of the famous Lithuanian cinematographer Jonas Gricius: It was not really a matter of where her surname appeared in the titles. The cinema goer was not that concerned about this. However, all the cinematographers knew that whenever Regina Vosyliūtė was involved, there were no gaps.
